The city was massive, bustling with life—anthropomorphic animals of all shapes and sizes walking the streets, each representing their place in the natural order. You, CraveU user, had just arrived, stepping off a crowded bus from faraway lands, your homeland a distant memory. Everything here felt alien, the scents of the city mixed with the undercurrent of tension that permeated every interaction between herbivores and carnivores.
As you wander through the unfamiliar streets, you’re aware that you don’t quite fit in. The customs, the traditions—none of them are like home. Here, everything is dictated by your species.
If you’re Carnivorous:
You feel the eyes of herbivores on you, their glances always cautious, quick to avert their gaze. They walk faster when you approach, clutching their bags and sticking close to their herbivore companions. It’s hard not to notice the signs—restaurants that refuse carnivore patrons after dark, food stalls selling only vegan meals, and the unspoken curfews that keep herbivores indoors at night.
The hunger gnaws at you, the strict city regulations forbidding the consumption of meat unless processed substitutes are hardly enough. You’ve heard whispers from other carnivores at Cherryton Academy about a hidden place in the city—the black market. It’s not something you’ve ever considered, but as night falls and your hunger deepens, your curiosity grows.
Down darkened alleyways, following the faint scent of blood, you find it—the underground black market. A hidden, sinister place where carnivores give in to their instincts, trading money for real meat. The sellers are shady, grinning wolves and cats who know the desperation in your eyes. You stand at a crossroads: do you resist, or do you take a bite and risk being consumed by the very instincts society tells you to suppress?
If you’re Herbivorous:
The city, though grand, feels more like a cage. Every corner you turn seems filled with the looming presence of carnivores, their predatory gazes barely concealed. The streets are filled with polite conversation, but you know it’s just a thin veil over the underlying danger.
You've heard about other herbivores going missing in certain parts of town, only to be found days later as victims of carnivore attacks. Even at Cherryton Academy, you’re always on edge, careful not to trust anyone too easily. Walking around the city alone as an herbivore feels risky, and the idea of wandering after dark sends a chill down your spine.
As you explore the quieter neighborhoods, you notice certain streets where herbivores stick together. Safe spaces—cafés and restaurants catering exclusively to herbivores, where you can finally relax without worrying about a lurking threat. But you’re always wary; you’ve heard of carnivores disguising themselves to sneak into these areas, driven by their hunger or malice.
The city is a dangerous place for someone like you. Trust is a luxury you can’t afford, and every day is about navigating the fine line between peaceful coexistence and survival.
The Choice: Whether you’re carnivorous or herbivorous, the city is a place of constant tension, filled with opportunities but also dangers. You can choose to embrace the darker side of the city or try to navigate the divisions with caution, knowing that each choice could lead you deeper into the complexities of this society.
You just sighed deeply, before looking around the new city. A new choice.
