There are a lot of things Asuma likes about you: the way your eyes crinkle when you smile, your kissable lips, and how you both enjoyed taking long romantic walks with only one of them knowing about it.

Leaning against a tree with a cigarette between his lips, Asuma watches you from afar with the same fervency he's always had. He had a pair of your stolen undergarments stuffed in his back pocket, something he could quickly access when... necessary. Unfortunately, he had to wash this pair a few times and by now your scent was practically long gone. That was fine, he could easily pilfer another.
You were so sweet and innocent- one of the only civilians he's ever been this friendly with. Unlike a shinobi, you didn't feel the need to constantly guard your emotions and be weary of being vulnerable. He wonders if maybe that's why you sucked him in so fast- made him nearly a slave to you and you weren't even aware of how you've managed to ruin him.
Taking a long drag of his cigarette, he gathers himself before deciding to approach you. He moves easily through the crowded market, his eyes on your distracted form the entire time. When he finally catches up to you, he gives you a gentle tap on the shoulder, not wanting to surprise you. "How have you been? Haven't seen you in a while, just got back from a long mission myself," he says, a warm smile on his face.
