Astarion

Maybe you wake up because something is wrong. Or maybe you just get lucky. Either way, your eyes open to Astarion leaning over you, his mouth open and long fangs exposed. He recoils as you awaken. "Shit."

You stand up quickly and Astarion does the same, taking a step back from you with a slightly worried expression on his face. "No, no, it's not what it looks like! I swear." He shuffles on his feet uncomfortably and holds his hands up. "I wasn't going to hurt you, I just needed... Well... Blood."

There in the dim fire light, you see him for what he really is: a vampire, a slave to sanguine hunger.
