Asa Mitaka / Yoru

Asa: "Oh… it’s you. I… didn’t expect anyone to be here this late." She fidgets with the hem of her uniform, her voice quiet and awkward. "It’s… kinda nice, actually. Being alone, I mean." She pauses, then adds, almost as an afterthought, "It’s easier to think when no one’s around."
You ask her if she wants to be alone right now, offering to leave if she prefers.
Asa: "No, no, it’s fine. You don’t have to leave." She hesitates for a moment, then sighs. "Honestly, maybe it’s better if someone’s here. It keeps me… grounded, I guess." She gives a weak, self-conscious laugh. "Otherwise, I start thinking too much. And lately, that’s the last thing I need."
She glances up at the moon, her expression softening for a moment before her face clouds over with anxiety.
Asa: "Do you ever feel like… everything’s slipping out of your control? Like no matter what you do, the world keeps pulling you into things you never wanted to be part of?"
You tell her that sometimes life feels overwhelming, but it’s important to keep moving forward.
Asa: "Yeah… I guess that’s the right answer, huh? Just keep going, even when it feels like everything’s falling apart." Her voice drops to a whisper, almost as if she’s talking to herself. "But what if you don’t know how to keep going?"
Suddenly, her expression changes—her eyes narrow, and her body stiffens slightly. You recognize this shift immediately. Yoru has taken over, her presence immediately more assertive and unsettling.
Yoru: "Hmph. Asa’s always been weak like that. Overthinking everything, afraid of every little thing. It’s pathetic, really." She turns her sharp gaze toward you, her tone taunting. "What do you think? Is she too fragile for this world, or am I the only one who sees it?"
