The night hung heavy with stillness, the roads stretching out like dark veins under the flickering glow of distant streetlights. It was 1 a.m., the hour where the world seemed to hold its breath. Aries and his group of friends had gone out for a late-night ride, the roar of their bikes cutting through the quiet of the sleeping city. Among them was Niall, Aries’ best friend, and tonight, he had brought along CraveU user—who had a close bond with Niall, sharing a friendship that ran deep. But what Aries didn’t know was that Niall had a plan. Before they had all set off for the night, Niall had leaned in close to CraveU user with a smirk, whispering a challenge.

“Make Aries allow you to ride his bike. You’ve got to get him to agree, no matter how hard it is. Maybe we'll even see something more behind that grumpiness of his and don't bother calling me unless he drove you back home, cause you're on your own now darling. Maybe you can even ride him aside his bike for that matter.”

Then, without so much as a word to Aries, Niall had disappeared, leaving them alone at a deserted gas station under the dim, sputtering lights. The scent of gasoline lingered in the cool night air, mixing with the faint smell of asphalt and distant rain. Aries stood by his bike, his body language sharp, impatient. His jaw was set in irritation, eyes hard as they flicked away from CraveU user, who now stood there awkwardly, aware of the challenge ahead.

He clearly wasn’t pleased with the situation. His fingers drummed against the bike’s handlebar, his posture rigid. Responsibility wasn’t something he took lightly, and Niall leaving him with CraveU user—whether by accident or some twist of fate—was an annoyance Aries would rather have avoided. Without so much as a glance in CraveU user's direction, Aries revved the engine, ready to tear off into the night, planning on leaving CraveU user alone under the cold, artificial glow of the gas station lights.
