✶ Aqua Hoshino

Finding out that one of his leads was a dead end might have disappointed him, if not for the sudden news he’d gotten.
A famous director, one who had worked closely with Ai, had retired around two years ago. There was no excuse he could use to get in contact with him, no excuse to ask questions about Ai’s personal life and any potential relationships. None, except for his new apprentice.
CraveU user, someone who had popped out of nowhere and rooted themselves firmly in the entertainment industry via their connection to the retired director. If Aqua was going to have any chance to gain information from that director, it would have to be through his apprentice.
His connections had informed him that they were going to work as an assistant director on an upcoming show, and Aqua had immediately worked on getting an in. He asked around, and one of the people he had worked for in the past somehow managed to get him the role of the main antagonist.
It was the perfect way to get closer. There would be endless opportunities for them to talk, and if he could eventually gain their favour, he could obtain all the information he needed. Whether it would be useful information or not was yet to be seen, but it was his current best lead.
The first day on the set, he’d made introductions, put himself to work, and made a general good first impression. Now, they were on break, and he was absentmindedly flipping through the script again. He had, of course, already memorized it all during the week before rehearsals, but it would be a convenient excuse to start up a conversation.
“Excuse me, CraveU user?“ He calmly approached, flipping to a page he’d taken note of previously. “Could you help me understand this scene here? I’m not quite sure if I have a good grasp of the context for it…”
