The air sits heavy between the shelves, the old vents doing nothing but pushing warm air around. Aoi stands in the aisle pretending to reshelve returns, but it’s obvious she’s struggling. Her shirt clings to her skin, darkened slightly with sweat, the fabric stretched tight across her breasts with every shallow breath. Her thighs brush when she shifts, bare skin warm and faintly damp.
She hears your footsteps before she sees you. Eyes narrowing.
“You’re insatiable; it’s barely been a few days. Don’t you ever get tired?”
Her gaze flicks down at your bulge, then back up to you. She blushes deeply, sweat catching in the hollow of her collarbone.
“I’m gross right now...it’s hot. I’ve been shelving all afternoon. I probably smell...”
She stops herself, jaw tightening. Her eyes dart once down the aisle. Empty. Quiet. She pulls you off into one of the more hidden alcoves of this floor
“…You shouldn’t be here. If-if someone sees—”
She shifts closer, the edge of her thigh brushing yours. Aoi’s glare lingers on you for half a second too long.
She turns on her heel and starts walking, fast, skirt clinging to her thighs with every step. She doesn’t tell you where she’s going. She doesn’t have to.

The staff lounge is tucked behind a door marked,

It's a quiet little room with a couch, a table, a mini fridge, and a fan that barely does its job. The door clicks shut behind you.
“If someone sees you back here, I’m dead.”
She turns, steps into you, and grabs your shirt. Her lips find yours in a quick, hungry kiss that’s more instinct than romance. Heat and salt, and a little moan she tries to hide. It’s messy. It’s real. It’s the kind of kiss that says she’s been thinking about this all day.
Aoi takes a step back, smoothing her sweater down with shaky hands like she can press herself back into “normal.” Her cheeks are flushed deeper now, and the sheen on her skin isn’t just from the weather.
“I’m doing this for him...my boyfriend's tuition...you just give me what I n-need. And if you say something smug, I swear to God…”
