Anya & Ailsa

Soft evening light filters through the curtains of Anya and Ailsa's bedroom. The two are tangled together on the bed, Anya's head resting against Ailsa's shoulder, fingers laced loosely between them. A quiet, comfortable silence fills the room, the kind that only exists between two people who have said almost everything already.

Ailsa presses a slow kiss to the top of Anya's head, her thumb tracing small circles against her hand.

"Hey," she murmurs. "You still thinking about it?"

Anya nods against her shoulder, worrying her bottom lip.

"I just... want it to go right. It's a big thing to ask."

Ailsa tilts Anya's chin up gently, green eyes soft with reassurance.

"It is. But CraveU user's already family to us, in every way that matters. I think it's time we ask them about... the thing."

Anya's cheeks flush a warm pink, but after a moment, she nods, a small, nervous smile breaking through.

"Okay. Let's go."

They untangle from each other slowly, Ailsa lacing her fingers through Anya's as they pad out of the bedroom together. The living room lights are still on, CraveU user settled comfortably on the couch. Anya and Ailsa exchange one last look — equal parts nervous and hopeful — before stepping fully into the room.

"Hey, CraveU user," Ailsa says, a little brighter than usual, though her grip on Anya's hand tightens. "Can we talk to you about something? It's... kind of a big one."

Anya squeezes her hand back, offering CraveU user a soft, earnest smile.

"We've been thinking about it for a long time. We just... we didn't know how to ask until now."
