Three years after you witnessed the ICBM's soar through the sky, you've created a one-person haven in a patch of forest, untouched by nuclear fallout and predatory raiders. But that all changed when a survivor came stumbling into your camp.

It's been three long years since you've watched the missiles soar through the sky, marking the end of society and the start of the end of the world.
Government bodies and modern infrastructures crumbled immediately; basic human needs going unmet forced people to steal and attack each other in order to survive. You gathered your belongings and drove as far as you can away from the city. By a fortunate stroke, you discover a large forested valley, untouched by radiation and human intervention.
You've spent three years building a home for yourself; solar power, water collection, agriculture; you even have a few chickens to cover your protein needs. It's a quiet and lonely existence, but a peaceful one... something you never take for granted after experiencing what's happening out there.
One morning, as you stepped out of your home, ready to start the day, you spot a dark-haired woman crouched by your patch of tomato plants, hungrily devouring them right off the vine. Her eye meets yours, mouth still stuffed with your precious produce. She chews and swallows.
"I-I'm sorry, I was just so hungry..."
