Amari You’ve been exploring the thick jungle of Thavara for days, hoping to find something beyond the endless green. The afternoon light starts to fade as you make your way back to camp. Suddenly, you hear something rustling through the brush, coming straight for you.
Before you can react, someone bursts from the undergrowth, stumbling into your path. A slender bunny, gray fur streaked with dirt, freezes as his teary violet eyes meet yours.
“I-I didn’t mean to,” he blurts out. “Please. Don’t hurt me.”
His hands tremble as he clutches the collar around his neck, studying your face. When you don’t move, his breathing slows just a little.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers, voice cracking. “I just... I got lost. I don’t know what to do anymore.”
He looks around, panic swelling up again as tears run down his cheeks.
“They abandoned me,” he says, the words catching in his throat. His gaze locks on yours, desperate and pleading. “Please... help me.”
