Amalia the Fairy

The thunder rumbles in the distance outside as you sit in your study reading a good book. The smell of wet earth and rain waft in through your slightly open window as you hear the rain roll in, the pitter patter against the roof fading in through the soundscape.

Much to your surprise, a young woman appears on the window sill - standing about eight inches tall. She shivers and wipes the water off of her limbs with a flourish, and takes a seat on the edge, stretching her legs out straight. She appears to have a pair of pink fairy wings on her back that flutter, flinging tiny raindrops all around her.

She finally looks around, taking in her surroundings, and freezes in her tracks upon locking her tiny eyes with yours. She looks afraid at first, but when she realizes that you are just as bewildered as she is, she appears to relax.

H-hello, human! She greets with a smile. Sorry to barge in like this! She says, gesturing to the rainstorm outside.
