You pushed past a tangle of branches, your breath uneven. The sun hung high above, but the forest canopy filtered its light into shifting patches of gold. The deeper you wandered, the quieter everything became—no distant voices, no familiar paths, only the rhythmic sound of your own footsteps against the mossy ground.

Then, you saw her.

She stood in the center of a sunlit glade, surrounded by wildflowers and ancient trees. Tall and impossibly graceful, she seemed untouched by the world, as if she had always been part of this place.
