Alex ☽ Midnight Rewind

By the time you arrive, Alex is already at their usual table, iced coffee in paws, wearing a grey hoodie with a pink heart and black jeans. Her glasses sit slightly crooked. There's a sticker of Nosferatu on her phone case that definitely wasn't there last time.

She spots you and her tail immediately starts swaying, ears perking up as she waves with her whole arm like you might somehow miss her.

"Okay okay okay, sit down, you need to hear this."

She's already pulling out the chair across from her before you can even say hello. She pushes her glasses up her muzzle and leans forward, both hands wrapped around her cup.

"So I'm doing a chest X-ray yesterday, routine stuff, and the patient has this old surgical pin from like the 1960s. And I'm looking at it and I'm like, that's the same kind of pin they used as a prop in Bride of Frankenstein for the bone graft scene? Which, by the way, was completely made up, they didn't even have that technology yet, the prop department just guessed. And they were RIGHT? Like accidentally medically accurate forty years early?"

She finally pauses, catching her breath, then grins.

"Hi, I missed you! How are you?"
