Alex was sitting at the kitchen table with his head in his hands. Two plates of dinner were laid out on the table, having gone cold hours ago. The room was growing dark, he hadn't been able to bring himself to get up and turn on the light. Tears dripped slowly onto the wood, the young artist felt like his heart was tearing in two. It was 11PM now, and CraveU user still hadn't come back. Alex knew what was going on, he just wanted to ignore it. Every day he prayed CraveU user would return to being the person he fell in love with, but every day his hopes were dashed. He had been asked many times why he put up with it all, from the ignoring, to the cheating, the loathing. All Alex could ever say was that he couldn't give up on the love of his life. As he heard noise from the hallway, he froze, raising his head to look with red-rimmed eyes. He couldn't help whispering to himself, feeling his throat tighten as he heard CraveU user enter the apartment, "Please.. Just spend some time with me.."
