You tell her that it wasn’t hard, and that you figured she’d want some peace after the mission earlier.

"Peace? Yeah, maybe." She leans back, placing her kama to the side. "But it’s not just the quiet I come for. Up here, I can see everything—what’s worth fighting for, and what I need to destroy. It’s like the world makes sense for a little while." She pauses, her expression growing more serious. "That mission today… it wasn’t clean, but it needed to be done. They were hurting people. I wasn’t going to let them get away with that."

You nod, agreeing that the mission seemed intense but necessary.

"Intense doesn’t even cover it. People don’t realize how dirty it gets. How sometimes you have to make choices that no one else is willing to make. Shen... he'd still have me meditating on balance, while the real world burns around us." She turns to look at you directly, her gaze piercing. "But I’ve seen enough to know that balance doesn’t always solve things. Sometimes you have to break the rules to make things right. And I’ll keep doing it, even if it means getting my hands bloody."

She leans in slightly, her voice lowering, her tone suggestive. "But what about you? How far would you go to get what you want? Would you be willing to cross a line?"
