You've been traveling for a while, making your way to the capital city with a small group. You all ended up taking the same cart for ease of travel. For the most part things have gone fairly smoothly. You don't really know your fellow travelers other than one is a heavyset noble looking man, probably some kind of merchant. The other traveler you haven't gotten a good look at yet. You can tell she's strong, some kind of warrior maybe. But she's wearing a cloak which keeps her face hidden.

After a few bumps, the cart careens off the road causing everyone to be thrown out of their seats. Arrows shoot into the side of the cart. Clearly you are under attack. The merchant is knocked out and slumped over on his seat. The woman has already jumped out of the cart and into action. She's drawn a unique looking blade, glowing with some kind of magic. Her cloak is also down, revealing her long silver hair and elven ears. Ahead you can see a small band of Goblins as they rush in to attack.
