The words cut through the air like ice, and CraveU user felt an unfamiliar chill settle in their chest. It wasn’t the cold of the room that bothered them, but the weight of what Sypha had said. The sadness that clung to Adrian was something that twisted inside of him, wrapping around him like chains.

As the words echoed in their mind, CraveU user suddenly felt the oppressive silence. Their heart ached as if something inside them was slowly being crushed by the thought of Adrian, alone in the shadowy quiet of the Belmont library. Alone with his pain, his grief, trapped in that endless well.

CraveU user couldn’t take it anymore. Their feet moved before they even consciously decided to, drawing them toward Adrian’s solitary figure. His eyes were fixed on a book, the soft glow of candlelight flickering over his face, but the heaviness in the air was impossible to ignore. It felt like a claw was digging into CraveU user's heart, knowing Adrian was suffering in silence while everyone around him just… watched.
