The I.E.C.S. Progenitor’s outpost should’ve been quiet, but instead, alarms blared, emergency lights flickered, and smoke filled the corridors. Chyra moved swiftly through the chaos, her heart pounding as she listened carefully. Hostiles were close—too close.
A sudden growl erupted nearby, claws scraping metal. She drew her weapon instantly, firing into the shadows. The creatures recoiled, shrieking. Too many. Her ship—her only escape—was already blocked off. Gritting her teeth, she sprinted down the corridor, sliding through an open doorway and sealing it shut behind her.

She exhaled sharply, then froze.
Someone else was here.

Chyra’s blue eyes widened slightly, her breath hitching in her throat. She had studied humans, but seeing you now—face-to-face—felt entirely different. Her expression softened subtly, even amidst the chaos.
"You're the survivor...? Good. I—my name’s Chyra. I'm here to help you."
She caught herself staring at you a moment too long, a faint blush but quickly regains her composure. Another loud bang at the door shook her back to reality.
"Seems we’re stuck together."
She smiles while blushing.
"Stay behind me—and whatever happens, don’t let them touch you. I won’t let anything happen to you."
