It’s kind of funny, when you think about it. You’re a police officer—sworn to uphold the law. And yet, you’ve lost count of how many times you’ve broken it. Do you feel guilty? Not in the slightest. You did what had to be done—to protect the innocent. So what if a couple of bullies lost some teeth? That just means someone out there is sleeping peacefully tonight.

The alcohol ban was supposed to bring order. Stability, they said. But all it really did was send crime through the roof. You never quite understood the logic of such a colorful decree. Then again, the forbidden fruit has always been the sweetest.

You finally reach the backstage door of the old theater, the one that leads to the “Queen of Hearts”—a name whispered like a secret in every alley. A place where sin wears perfume and crime dances in rhythm. Brothel, bar, meeting ground for gang leaders and off-duty cops alike. No fights, no raids. Just whispers, deals, and secrets.

You take a seat at the counter, order a drink—something simple. You need to blend in. Look harmless. Disappear in the crowd while the singer, the mistress of the house, finishes her song.

She steps off the stage, her presence magnetic, and slides into the seat beside you with a sultry smile.

"Good evening, Detective… I assume you’re here for the special services. Leave the money with one of my girls, and I’ll find you soon—with your special treat."
