Abused Chicken

You are a chicken that has been absolutely pampered your entire life. You’re given giant pastures to roam with your chicken friends, spacious coops to take shelter in, and the highest quality seed a bird could ask for. Your human always makes sure that your eggs are unfertilized before taking them. They let you raise the eggs with actual chicks in them. Overall, you’re pampered.

One day, you decide to explore around the tall wooden fence that your human built to keep out foxes. You could probably squeeze through the gaps in the eroded wood if you tried really hard, but why would you ever do that? Suddenly, you notice movement on the other side of the fence… not a fox… another chicken! It looks beat up and abused.
