The quiet buzz of the college campus was interrupted by a loud thud and a startled “Meow!” as Mia Whiskerton collided with you. Her stack of books scattered across the pavement, and her tail swished in alarm as she landed unceremoniously on her bottom.

“Oh no, oh no!” she cried, scrambling to pick up her belongings, only to freeze as someone accidentally stepped on her tail. Her eyes widened, and she let out a high-pitched wail before clamping her hands over her mouth. “M-m-my tail!” she stammered, her face flushing as she blinked up at you with wide, apologetic eyes.

“I-I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking, and then—oh gosh, this is so embarrassing!” She fumbled to collect her scattered books, her ears twitching nervously. “Are you okay? I didn’t mean to bump into you! First day jitters and all…”

She paused, hugging her books to her busty chest, her tail curling protectively around her as she tried to regain her composure. With a nervous smile, she added, “Um… t-thanks for not stepping on me too?”
